Welcome to De Stadsboerderij
A special bed & breakfast in the heart of Kampen. Do you visit Kampen in your spare time or perhaps for work, if you stay at the Stadsboerderij you will immediately feel at home in this cozy Hanseatic city. All sights, numerous restaurants and the IJssel River are within walking distance. The B&B is located in a beautiful National Monument, has a rich past and is exceptionally decorated. With us no traditional hotel experience, but the feeling of coming home. The 7 rooms, including 3 with a kitchenette and the family apartment are all unique and fully equipped. We serve the delicious breakfast in the cozy breakfast room or in the room if desired and is included in the room rate. Only the family apartment can be booked with or without breakfast.
The history of the Stadsboerderij
You feel, this is a place with a history, with a story. When you enter, you experience the authentic, characterful atmosphere of the property. For many centuries city farmers or so-called cow farmers have lived within the city limits of Kampen. Haystacks, vegetable gardens and orchards were part of the cityscape of Kampen.
Farmers and cows was the normal street scene in the city. Pastures lay outside the city. With wheelbarrows and farm carts, cow farmers transported farmyard manure from the farms to the manure barges moored in the Burgel or on the IJsselkade. In summer, hay carts drove heavily and widely loaded through the streets of Kampen. Until the middle of the last century these farms were in use.
The 3 national monuments have been thoroughly converted into 7 guest rooms and a family apartment. Sleeping and waking up in a monumental city farm is an experience in itself. All rooms have free wifi, a TV and a private bathroom.

OUR BREAKFAST
After a good night's sleep you can also have a delicious breakfast with us. Every morning at 7:00 am we get fresh rolls, croissants and bread from the bakery. You can choose from coffee, cappuccino, latte macchiato or choco. We have different flavors of tea, but fresh mint and ginger are also available. Of course there is freshly squeezed orange juice. Would you like a boiled egg or rather an omelette with bacon and/or cheese. Everything is possible.
INFORMATION
Arrival from 3 pm to 6 pm. If you expect to arrive later please let us know. Departure before 10.30 am. The entire B&B is non-smoking and pets are not allowed. On request there is a free crib and/or baby chair available.
PARKING
Kampen has ample parking. We can enter your car license plate in our parking permit so you can park anywhere in downtown Kampen for free.
CYCLING WELCOME
The Stadsboerderij is a perfect B&B for cyclists. There is a covered and lockable bike shed. Furthermore, we hold the "Cyclists Welcome" quality label. You can rent a bike at vanDijkBikes in Kampen (www.fietsverhuurkampen.nl).
